Over the past couple of years, I’ve completely given up on all things morning routine. I’ve watched every video on what successful people do for morning routines and none of them worked for me. From getting up early, (I’m not a morning person) plus I’m more creative in the evening. Also meditation in the morning, I personally like to meditate In the evening or even making a cup of tea, it’s just not me. I’m running around getting the kids ready for school, me for work and holding on to every second of sleep that I can get.
But a week ago I came across a morning routine on YouTube and decided to give it a chance! I watched the video and thought to myself, I will give one more of theses morning routines a try. I didn’t think it would work, but it did!!!
The overly successful people in the video stated that they start each morning off with a gratitude list. Some say it out loud, some wrote it down. I switched it up and said it out loud some days or said it to myself in my head. I instantly felt better. I instantly felt more confident. I felt more secure about who I am and what I’m doing. It completely shifts my energy every day to starting on the right foot. I reaaallly did not think this would work. I thought it was hocus pocus. Rich people with some fake, made up ideology. But nope, it worked!
I have even started getting my 3 year old son into. I have him name out things he is thankful for and he is having better days at school!
As you say what your grateful for it just takes stress away. It shifts your energy. You walk different, feel different, head up high. Feeling good on the inside.
So today, I highly recommend you start your day of saying 3-5 things that your grateful for every morning. It is truly life changing!!!
